650 Divisadero grew from a 16-unit building to a 66-unit building, without any increase in the on-site affordable requirement.
They were going to offer the community 9 affordable on-site units. We thought they could do better.
We oppose 650 Divisadero for not including enough on-site affordable housing. Without sufficient affordable units, this project is neither necessary nor desirable for our neighborhood.
We also oppose Supervisor Breed’s latest Divisadero-Fillmore legislation, which requires only 6% on-site units to be affordable to low income households, a reduction in the affordable units.
We want more affordable housing for people who need it, not less! More info here.
